Is ForeFun Golf GPS free?
Yes — the core GPS rangefinder is free to download on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Android. A Premium subscription ($34.99/year or $6.99/month) unlocks AI green contour maps, Play Like Adjustments, shot dispersion, and advanced analytics.
Does ForeFun track my golf handicap?
ForeFun focuses on GPS yardages and shot tracking during a round. For WHS-style Handicap Index calculation and full score history, Golf Handicap Tracker & Scores (mygolfhandicaptracker.com) is a dedicated companion app available on iPhone and Android. Will my subscription restore after reinstalling?
Yes. On iOS, open Settings → Membership and the app checks your current subscription status automatically via the App Store. On Android, your subscription is linked to your Google Play account and restores when you sign in.
What devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad (iOS 16+), Mac (Apple Silicon M1 and later), Apple Watch (watchOS 5+), Apple Vision Pro, and Android (Android 5.0+). The iOS app is 49.9 MB.
My course isn't in the database. What do I do?
You can add any course manually. Go to the course list, tap Add Course, and enter the hole layout. Once saved, it's available immediately for GPS tracking. You can also move pin positions to match current flag placements.
